Terms of Service

ChurchCreate is an AI-assisted design platform for churches. You describe what you need, and the Service generates graphic designs in styles you choose, informed by your church's brand and preferences, and delivers them in multiple sizes and formats. The Service also includes free weekly design downloads and a community project library of designs you can build from.

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act for the church or organization on whose behalf you use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Access during the beta period may be limited by invitation.

You retain ownership of everything you provide to the Service: your brand assets, logos, photos, text, and the descriptions you give during design intake ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host and process Your Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit Your Content, including permission to use any logos, images, or likenesses of identifiable people it contains.

Subject to these Terms and your plan's limits, you own the designs the Service generates for you and may use them for your church's ministry, communications, and related purposes, commercial or otherwise. You may not resell, license, or redistribute generated designs as stock assets, templates, or competing products.

AI-generated designs are not guaranteed to be unique. Similar prompts, styles, and reference material can produce similar designs for different churches.

Designs generated on the Free and Pro plans may be selected by our team for the community project library and the free Weekly Drop, where other churches can view, download, and build their own projects from them. By generating designs on those plans you grant us a license to display, adapt (for example, cleaning up placeholder text), and make those designs available to other users for their ministry use. Designs generated on the Max plan are not added to the community library.

Selection is curated by our team; your specific church details and Your Content are not shared beyond what appears in the design itself. If you would like a design of yours removed from the library, contact us and we will remove it from future availability; copies other churches already downloaded are not affected.

Designs you download from the Weekly Drop or community library are licensed for your church's own ministry use. You may not resell or redistribute them as stock assets or templates.

The Service uses artificial intelligence models, including models operated by third-party providers, to generate designs and text. AI-generated content can contain errors, artifacts, or inaccurate text. You are responsible for reviewing designs, including any scripture references, dates, names, and other text, before publishing or printing them.

You agree not to:

• submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• use the Service to generate content unrelated to your church or organization's legitimate activities, or attempt to generate prohibited or harmful content;
• circumvent usage limits, share accounts across organizations, scrape the Service, or interfere with its operation or security;
• resell access to the Service or use it to build a competing product.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

Free access, including trial generations during the beta period and the free plan afterward, is provided as a courtesy and may be changed or withdrawn. Beta features are provided as-is and may change, break, or be removed without notice.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Each plan includes a monthly generation allotment; current limits are shown in the app and usage limits apply to all plans. We may offer a buffer beyond your allotment as a courtesy; a hard cap applies.

You can cancel anytime from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and your plan remains active until then. Except as provided in our Refund Policy or required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not prorate partial periods. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and suspend paid features until payment succeeds. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect for you.

We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or unlawful use. You may close your account at any time. After closure, you may request an export of your designs within a reasonable period, after which remaining content may be deleted.

We are actively building ChurchCreate and may add, change, or remove features at any time. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your designs.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice with the details required by the DMCA to hello@churchcreate.com. We remove infringing content and may terminate repeat infringers.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT GENERATED DESIGNS WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY ARISING FROM GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR FRAUD.

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from Your Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another party's rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to their jurisdiction. This section does not deprive you of consumer protections you are entitled to under the laws of your place of residence.

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and supersede prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We may provide notices to the email address on your account.

We may update these Terms from time to time; updates are identified by the version number and effective date above. For material changes we will give notice through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
